Castwide

Castwide End User Licence Agreement (EULA)

Last updated: 26 October 2026

This agreement is between you and [Your legal name / Castwide Ltd] (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Castwide you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t install or use the app.

1. What Castwide is

Castwide is a free Windows desktop app that lets you send one stream from OBS Studio or Streamlabs Desktop to multiple platforms at the same time (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Rumble, X, Facebook, TikTok, or any RTMP/RTMPS server). It includes FFmpeg for video processing.

2. Licence

We give you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Castwide for personal or commercial streaming on your own computers, for as long as you follow these terms.

You may not:

Castwide is free forever. There is no paid tier, licence key, or Castwide account.

3. Your responsibilities

4. No warranty

Castwide is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be error-free, always work with every platform, or that your streams will succeed. We do not warrant that it is suitable for any particular purpose.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost streams, lost revenue, lost data, or damage to your computer) arising from your use of Castwide.

Our total liability for any claim related to Castwide is limited to £50 (or the equivalent in your local currency).

Nothing in this agreement limits your rights under consumer law that cannot be excluded (for example, if you are a consumer in the UK or EU).

6. Third-party software

Castwide includes FFmpeg and other open-source components. Those components remain under their own licences. We will provide the required FFmpeg source notices and source code with releases as required by the FFmpeg licence.

7. Updates and changes

The installed app can check for and install updates from GitHub. We may change these terms; if we do, we will update the date at the top and note material changes in the release notes. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

8. Termination

You can stop using Castwide at any time and delete it. We may stop offering or updating the app at any time, and your licence ends automatically if you break these terms. Sections 4, 5, and 6 continue to apply after termination.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, except where local consumer law gives you the right to use your local courts.

10. Contact

Questions? Open an issue on GitHub. Do not post stream keys, tokens, or private details there.

Plain-text copy: EULA.txt (the same text is installed with Castwide). See also the Privacy policy.

Open-source components and FFmpeg source code

Castwide includes FFmpeg 7.1.1 with x264, licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3. The complete source code for the exact FFmpeg build in Castwide (FFmpeg, x264 and the other libraries it uses, plus the configure flags and build scripts) is attached to Castwide releases on GitHub as Castwide-<version>-ffmpeg-source.tar.xz: github.com/CastwideApp/castwide/releases.

The same FFmpeg build is in every Castwide version from 2.3.0 onwards. You can also download its source here: Castwide-2.3.6-ffmpeg-source.tar.xz (17.2 MB).

A full list of third-party components and their licences is in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt in the Castwide install folder (from version 2.3.6).
